Chrome corundum is made of metallurgical grade chrome green and industrial alumina as raw materials, and high-grade chrome corundum is obtained by chemical reaction at a high temperature above 2000 °C .

The product has good high temperature thermal stability, erosion resistance, erosion resistance and wear resistance. The crystal is pink, its hardness is similar to that of white corundum, and its toughness is higher than that of white corundum. Abrasives made of chrome corundum have good durability and high grinding finish. It is suitable for precision grinding of measuring tools, machine tool spindles, instrument parts, threaded workpieces and sample grinding.

Its main material is bayer alumina ,which is electrically fusd in high temperature,being added with the right quantity of  oxidized chromium . The color is pink ,the hardness is close to wfa but the toughness is higher than Wfa. The abrasive tools made of it feature excellent durability and high processing cleanness,which are suitable for the precision grinding of the measuring rools,lathe main shafts,instruments and apparatus parts,threading workpieces and samplers etc.

Cr2O3 ：0.20-0.45%

Al2O3 ：98%min

Na2O ：0.6%max

Chromium:

Cr2O3 0.45-1%

Al2O3 ：97.8%min

Na2O ：0.6%max

High chromium:

Cr2O3 1-2%

Al2O3 ：96.5%min

Na2O ：0.7%max
